Safes, with the install stated plainly
Every listing states that a safe must be bolted down, and that fire and security ratings are a tested performance and not a guarantee — so you can choose a safe knowing it needs fixing to a solid floor or wall, and that a safe protects but does not replace insurance.
Bolting down, ratings & keeping a safe
A safe only protects what's inside if it is installed right. Bolt a safe down to a solid floor or a load-bearing wall with the correct fixings per the instructions — a safe that is not fixed down can simply be carried away. Fire-resistant and security ratings describe performance under defined test conditions and are not a guarantee that contents survive every fire or every attempted break-in; a safe is not a substitute for insurance. Keep keys, codes and any override key secure and separate from the safe, and keep the lock battery fresh on an electronic model. CE marked where applicable.

You have 14 days to withdraw without giving a reason, as German and EU law provides. A safe must be returned complete and in its original packaging; a safe that has been bolted down, drilled or had its lock reconfigured cannot be returned in a resaleable state. Unused safes in original packaging and unfitted accessories may be returned within the statutory 14-day withdrawal period. For security reasons we cannot take back a safe once its lock has been set and used.
